Couple of Updates

Welcome to the New Year!

I just wanted to reach out and do a quick little update. Last year was wild and great and I have you all to thank for that. Made a big decision to move to Hollow Earth and started my journey into private studio land in May and haven’t looked back since. With that has come some growing pains but it’s getting more ironed out everyday. I’m sure most of you know getting to emails could use some work. So, I think to be help be better at responding to e-mails I’m going to take back over that whole department again. Sarah’s has been incredible and I thank her for her time but with her also putting in 40hrs at her job and being a family it was there was a little too much disconnect from myself and you all.

News About Booking.

The new booking system worked so goddamn good. I know some of you didn’t get booked but that was because I got over 140 requests. It was a lot to sift through, categorize, and respond to. In fact because of that influx of requests and not being able to accommodate those returning clients, I’m only opening booking to my clients that have ongoing projects that need finished up to help make space for new projects and clients this booking period. So be on the look out for an email with new Calendly dates for March and possibly April.

If you are a new client, or a returning one but with a new project, books will open for you in April or May once I get some space cleared up to get you in.

I’d love nothing more than to tattoo every one of you but I only got two hands and a bad back so please bare with me while I try my best to get as many of you in as possible. With that being said I’m slowly coming to terms that I can’t tattoo everyone and I’ve now got to be more methodical with choosing what projects I take on now. So if you come to me with an idea but I have to pass on it please know that I’m not trying to be a cool guy tattooer that’s too big for this and that and that I’m just one guy that can only do so much.

So yeah….

I think that covers the most of everything I was going to say.

TL;DR Life is great hope it’s great for you, I’m going to be more hands on with my emails again, the new booking period for March and possibly April will be for current clients only right now, and once I get caught up and finish some of those projects I’ll be opening books to new clients in April or May.

UPDATE ON SCHEDULING

I just wanted to give you all a little heads up on a few things and some new changes.

First thing is, if you haven’t already found out, books will be opening on November 19th! I’m stoked to get you all back in the chair again, whether it’s working on a continuing project or starting something new.

Second thing is how I’m going about the booking process. Before I had you all wait until the actual day of the books opening to send in your request, well I’m scratching that. You can go ahead and fill out that form through my website whenever you want, just know I won’t be going through and responding to them until the day that the books open. Only use the tattoo request form to make an appointment from now on. With this new form system I’m able to group all the tattoo forms into one folder in my email so we don’t have to hunt for booking requests like we used to. Please only send one request per booking period though. That shit is crucial. Click the button below to fill out a form if you already haven’t.

Last thing is how you will book your appointment day. This is mainly for returning clients that are continuing a project, as new clientele or new projects will need a consult and then if I take on the project I’ll book you myself afterwards. So to the homies that are in the cool group, you’ll be getting an email that will kinda look like this.

There you’ll notice three links for the three different kinds of sessions I offer and the price for each one. Click the link of the type of session you’re wanting to schedule and that will send you to my Calendly page which will look something like this.

There you’ll be able to pick that date that best works for you that are still available. From there you’ll go through a confirmation page and then you’ll be on the books. This should make it more fair in the sense that it’s in your hands, instead of what we were doing where we sent dates I had available to 30 different people. Then trying to bounce back in forth when someone else took the date I offered to those 30 other people and sending Sarah and I into a black void of anxiety and “I’m sorry that date’s already been booked” emails. This is a first come first served basis. I will try to get everyone working on a current project booked but there are more of your than available dates. Any days that don’t get booked for new clients I will open up to you all to make sure we can get you set up in a timely manner.

So that’s it! This is the new thing. I worked really hard on getting this all set up and I think it’s going to make things more seamless and easy for everyone. But as with all new things I’m sure there will be hiccups and troubleshooting along the way, so if something happens please be patient and know we’re working on fixing the problem. hopefully it’ll be flawless from the start.

WE DID IT!

Let’s Gooooo! It finally happened, I made a real deal website, and you made it to the blog section to read the ramblings of a mad man and marvel at his poor grammar, so good for you too! Here it is, this is where you’ll get all the deets and we’ll be using this website to book your tattoos under the “book you appointment” tab. I don’t have much more to say it’s almost 4am and I’m roasted for the night but it’s done.

Oh here’s one more thing
